Chosen Solution As per the title I am attempting to disable the AMD discrete card so the machine uses only the integrated card. I originally went through the graphics card recall for this machine however as expected the replacement discrete card has now failed again. I was able to install gfxCardStatus initially and if the machine boots using the integrated card and logs into the user account this application runs immediately and switches the card....

Chosen Solution My ipad 4th gen acts on its own most of the time. impossible to stay on any page. it will suddenly change to a random app etc. have rebooted , restarted etc. any firm cure for this. nothing specific on any site. replace your digitizer. 99% of the time thats the issue.

Chosen Solution I am walking on a track with other friends with Fitbits and mine is recording less then a third of their steps which makes it very frustrating. Battery is working and when even counting my steps it doesn’t record them all. @jody935 , Joann, Dominant Hand setting. Letting Fitbit know which arm you’re wearing the Flex on will result in more accurate tracking of your steps usually, in your case maybe switch setting to non-dominant wrist setting increases the sensitivity of step counting and should reduce any under counting of steps....

Chosen Solution I misplaced the silver protective display connector cover, can I use electrical tape to give it some support? I know under normal circumstances the cable connectors should pop out but wanted to know if this would work? Also, is there anywhere I can buy those MB protective covers? electrical tape will be fine. I’ve opened up iPads before that have been repaired(screen replacements) and put them back together without those covers and they all didn’t have any issues working....

The cursor would go to the right, Chrome would zoom in, and other weird stuff would happen. I wiped the water off, but it still does this. On the logic board, only one LED comes on. If the computer is turned on, this led remains on then after roughly 10 seconds, the fans increase to their maximum speed. Chosen Solution I have an iPad that had the Glass, home button, battery, and charging port all replaced. the port was changed 4x. Once the final port was put in the tablet begun to charge. but will not give accurate voltage. It either gives 2% or 100%. what makes this whole thing weird is that the only way to keep it on is to squeeze the top right corner. But it still will not charge....

Without audio IC it was working fine, got signal and everything, but when I put audio IC back the phone starts bootlooping. I have done jumper wires, tried another chip, but it is always the same....

Chosen Solution Background: bought iPhone 7 second hand in Feb 2020. Repaired screen August 2020 and again in September 2020. Same screen is now 2 years old. Occasionally had periods of “glitch out” where phone goes mad and starts detecting non-existent touches. Dropped phone many times, many cracks and some dead pixel patches appear.
