Chosen Solution Is it possible to change the GPU from 512MB to 2GB? Update (09/18/2018) but maybe i can change the complete mainboard with the better cpu and gpu? No. Even if you were to solder on more memory, you would still require a custom BIOS. I recommend an eGPU. It may be possible to change the entire logic board in the iMac but that would be both expensive and impractical....

Reconnect the power to the TV. The screen backlights should turn on full intensity and stay on. There will be no picture because the mainboard is disconnected. If the backlights stay on, measure the voltage on the power board where the mainboard cable was connected....

Chosen Solution Hi, my JBL pulse would not charge with the original charger or any other USB chargers. Just before this the battery seems to be holding the charges quite well. Chosen Solution I lost bluetooth and wifi connections. Samsung support reset. Then backed up on the cloud and did a factory reset. Did not work. Hi @jojoandme , Do the WiFi and BT turn on OK? If so try placing the phone as close as possible to either a WiFi router or a BT device and check if there is an entry in the list of available connections dependent on the signal type being checked....

Chosen Solution I used an iFixit kit and great instructions to replace the CD drive with a SSD a couple of years ago in my son’s laptop and it has been working fine. I don’t know if it became overheated, electrocuted or what but when he came back from school the whole system was near death - can supply further info. if needed, but ’near death’ sums it up. I managed to wipe and rebuild the SSD and get that back working properly but the internal HD (500Gb) just wouldn’t show up....
