But I’m worried that the phone might not be waterproof after the replace. They are not waterproof. they are waterresistant. If you replace the back cover you can not be 100% sure its tight and secure so no it wont be waterresistant....

Chosen Solution I have a I phone 6s plus that went for a short swim in my pocket. I have opened the phone and dried out all the components and cleaned the connections. I didn’t see any corrosion on the connectors. The phone still doesn’t fire up at all, and is not recognized when plugged into the computer. Chosen Solution I replaced my Ipad battery with an i Fix it battery and now the battery wont charge and the device shuts off after about 5 min of running. Did you separate the battery from the board before disconnecting the screens? Hopefully you did but you’ve probably damaged the battery connector on the board. If not done correctly you can bend or even break off the pins on the underside of the motherboard....

Chosen Solution Hi guys First time posting here, thank you all in advance! So I recently changed the battery on my 2015 Macbook Pro. Upon booting up the machine, the built in keyboard is no longer working. Trackpad works 100% fine, power button works fine and keyboard is backlit OK. Re-opened the machine and it appears that the keyboard connector is bedded properly with the latch closed. I’ve seen some posts that suggest checking for software updates etc, but I don’t think this is the case....

While in use(Home screen) the portion of the screen near the rear camera, which, as far as I know, works just fine. The battery also plummets from the second I unplug it, dropping 13% in 45 minutes while fully powered down after a full charge. Chosen Solution after replacing body my iPhone 6s give hot burn even in turn off i have to remove the battery. Did you replace the body only or did you buy a body assembly with small parts? It looks like that some small parts are not connected correctly or are not working correctly. Just disconnect them all and try one bye one until you can find the faulty part.

We have seen it on a few phones now where the phone is stuck on “no service”, but there is no sim card in the phone. When I insert a sim card, there is no change to the network status. From what I can tell, the phone is unable to actually read the sim when it is installed....
