Chosen Solution Hey, the phone I’m working on is missing the logic board ground clip. Is it okay to not replace it? Missing what logic board ground clip? No picture, no context, it’s really hard guessing which part you are talking about. Most of the “ground clips” are actually signal feed clips, if you lose one, you lose part or all of the RF functionality for that antenna, for example cellular/wifi primary/diversity antenna, GPS, Bluetooth, NFC, depending on which one you lose....

Chosen Solution Hi, my adhesive strips have broken on my iPhone. I have been told that using some Acetone is a good way to dissolve the adhesive and remove the battery, without having to use heat or prying the battery. Is Acetone safe? I really wouldn’t recommend putting acetone in your phone. The best route is heat & pry. Anything is good, just don’t get the phone too hot. If it’s too hot to touch you’ve gone too far....

Chosen Solution Here are the things I have done - multiple times Windows: Placed the IPOD in DFU mode and completed recovery. This cycle completes every time. However, when the IPOD reboots, iTunes wants to restore. After the restore it would like to restore again. The disk itselw shows in disk management, but cannot initialize or format the drive. Diagnostics show the drive to be healthy. There are about 200 reallocs but both options in the disk diagnostic show results....

Chosen Solution I’ve got a 6th generation ipod nano that is not turning on as far as I can tell. Pressing the sleep/wake button has no effect. When I plug it in to a computer, nothing happens on the nano’s end. On the computer’s end, apple-related stuff stalls until I unplug the nano. That is, if itunes is running, it becomes unresponsive until the nano is removed and if itunes isn’t running, it can’t be started until the nano is removed....

Chosen Solution I have a Ipod Classic 160gb Thin. It’s been a long road for this Ipod. I originally opened it up to replace a damaged audio jack, upon doing that I accidentally broke the battery. So I replaced the battery and then broke the battery connector off the logic board. I took the logic board out and attempted to solder the connector back on. It was my first time and I did my best but I may have damaged something in the process or just not soldered it correctly....

It is reset and when I go to set up, it gets to the “it may take a few minutes to set up” message and then after a minute it simply starts back over like it is a new iPad needing to be set up. I can click on nothing, so im relying on my keyboard. @duchess13me try a different monitor to see if that makes a difference. The blinking “ -” is usually caused by a computer not finding the OS and not the monitor.

The white wire just loops around at the tip but the red wire seems like it should be connected somewhere.

Chosen Solution I powered on my printer after not using it for a few months, and now as soon as I press the power button, it shows that it’s powering up, I can hear the internal mechanism start to move. But then after just a few seconds the mechanisms within the printer suddenly halts and I get an alert sound. I don’t remember the error message off hand, (the one that shows on the printers LCD) but when I did do a google search online earlier, I wasn’t able to find any information about it....
