Chosen Solution Where can I find a service manual so that I can troubleshoot a Samsung Galaxy 5 down to the component level. Need schematic, test points, etc. @peteyoung those are copyrighted and we, this forum, would definitely get in trouble by distributing those. I can tell you that they are available but may require some good searching. you always want to use the proper model number when you search for those....

Chosen Solution Apparently the app is no longer supported for iOS or Android and there are a lot more features that are capable in the app I’m wondering if someone has a skills to make a custom software for this instant pot Bluetooth as a device still works good and it’s only missing an app due to application no longer supported. Search for INSTANT BRANDS. Thats the new app name :) It works fine ^^

Chosen Solution Just carried out a screen repair on an iPhone 7 Plus. Sometimes when waking it up, the screen will be of a largely rainbow tint on the left side. Touching the screen or moving it around solves the issue. Anyone have any idea what this could be? I have attached a picture of the phone prior to the repair and a video of the rainbow. Thanks in advance....

My iPhone X needed a screen repair, so I bought a so called OEM screen. this OEM screen has longer cables, But Also thicccer cables that the original screen. When I was assembling the screen, part of the folded cable stuck out from the iPhones frame, and it still does. I really need help on how I can keep the cable from sticking out, because I cant fit the screen correctly....

Chosen Solution My iPhone XR won’t power on on its own. When I connect to my mac, I get a message saying that the iPhone is in recovery mode - restore? When I restore, it goes through the entire restore process, applies new software and firmware, validates the software and firmware etc. The apple logo and the progress bar on the phone is visible at this time. Then I get a message saying the phone will restart....

Chosen Solution I have an iPhone XS Max that appeared fine after a screen replacement. The screen is aftermarket, and the phone now restarts every 4 minutes. Everything seems to work fine in those 4 minutes, battery charged, cameras work, touch works, receives texts, makes calls. Is it just a bad screen? Already tried updating all of the apps and even restored the phone. I have the phone coming back in and will put the original back on to see if that fixes it....

Chosen Solution it will go from 5% to 25% for a few minutes and then back to 5%. does someone know what could the problem be? (it doesn’t stay at 5% or 25% all of the time just using those numbers as examples) i just noticed it only glitches after saying connect to power and goes to 20-30% for 30 secs-1 minute i have had problems with this same device before....

Chosen Solution I have had my 6th gen Ipod Touch for a little less than a year. it’s always worked well and I have had no issues with it until now. I didn’t drop it in water, or drop it at all,when the screen suddenly went black while I was using it. the battery was low, but I had not received a 20% warning like I usually do. when I tried to turn it back on it did not respond....

Chosen Solution I dropped my Galaxy S8+ on concrete, and it started doing this. The screen has minor cracks, but is almost unusable due to this flickering on the screen. The screen is still responsive, so I don’t think it’s a digitizer problem. Here’s a video of the issue: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KNI-qez_… That looks like an lcd issue. Try a good one and see if it works, but you can still sell the broken one online for about $30-$80 depending on condition....

It spilled into the fan vent, I kinda panicked but since nothing really happened right away, I figured most of the liquid missed and hit the floor, well… More that what I thought got in there did just that....

It is only an option if you are subscribed to Apple Music. Secondly: are you signed in with your Apple ID on all your devices? You might need to sign in again if you have an Apple Music membership.

That is reference designator L9500 which is a 250 Ohm ferrite bead (fixed inductor)in a 0603 package. You will need to check why it blew the way it did....

Chosen Solution Hello. I have an early 2009 Mac Mini at my cottage to play media through. FYI - This is a strictly offline setup. No router, no ISP. I often use the ad-how or “create network” option so I can stream to another Mac. The main issue I’ve encountered is Range. Using WiFi scan option on the airport utility iOS app, the RSSI of the ad-hoc network is -61. I’m only 6ft away with no obstructions....

Chosen Solution My headphone’s left channel was dead so i opened up the lead end (the one which goes to the iPod) of the headphone and found a misplaced green wire. the wire seems to be a bundle of thin, laminated filaments and silk. Rather it looks like it was pressed and held there by the string....
