Chosen Solution I have a kenmore side by side. My ice maker is not filling with water but the water dispenser works fine . I’ve tried defrosting and even swapped the wires on the solenoids and when the water dispenser was pressed it filled the ice maker fine so the line isn’t frozen and those cubes froze fine. When I push the arm down it goes through its dump cycle but when it resets it never calls for the solenoid to open and fill....
Chosen Solution My iMac G3 was working but now isn’t. It’s exhibiting bizarre behavior so I’ll be specific. When I plug it in I can hear a faint high pitch whine from the inside. Pressing the power button results in it glowing amber, the hdd spinning up, then the bootup chime. The display does not come on. Shortly after the chime there will be a sort of thunk then the power button will turn green within a blink of an eye the whole thing shuts off....
Chosen Solution Greetings, iFixit community. I recently took apart my iPhone 5s in an attempt to fix a faulty screen. When I reassembled the device I discovered that the phone would not respond when plugged in to charge. I can feel the battery heating up when it is plugged in, so it is clearly charging, although it is not vibrating or making any sounds. The screen will not turn on. I can hear the hard disk working and iTunes recognized the device, so the phone clearly is not dead....

After leaving it in rice for approximately 4 days, I powered it on and found that most functions seem to work. I still have some slight water mark at the top of the screen, but more importantly I get no service on the cell network. If I connect to wifi everything seems to work and I can make calls and get texts via wifi....
Chosen Solution Hello everyone, I would like to ask for some help. ? I have repaired an iPhone X with FaceID issue, it was showing problem with the true depth sensor. I replaced the dot projector flex, the i2C programmer shows OK. After installing it in the phone I was able to set up FaceID and I could unlock the phone a few times. Then it suddenly stopped working and when I try to set an alternative face the setup begins but after 3 seconds it freezes and shows the error FaceID is not available....

Chosen Solution I have had my phone (LG Escape 3 (k373) 4G LTE) for awhile and it’s been without service for a month I just activated service again today on this phone had to get a new SIM card and everything it’s with Cricket anyways my phone has always worked when it came to calls however today a friend called me I could hear them crystal clear but they couldn’t hear me but what sounded like I was moving my phone around and it was beeping which I didn’t hear any beeping in my end but however when I put my phone on speaker phone they could hear me crystal clear so another friend called same issue....
Chosen Solution I changed the deck belt using craftsman belt 7133153 which is a replacement for original #429636. Belt seems very tight and i cant get the brackets connected from deck to mower as i cant push deck far enough back because of belt. It is almost 2 inches to try get the bracket in place to put the pins in. Chosen Solution Basically, the screen is all black, but when I do a hard reset, the logo doesn’t show up. However, the touch screen still works, and it still vibrates when it is being turned on. I have attempted every trick and fix I could find. ForTheKaiser since you already tried everything that you could find and it still does not work, I suggest that you change the display. It is possible that your LCD screen has failed or this is a board level error....
Chosen Solution New Zealand SodaStreams have a different thread for gas canisters. I’d rather continue using my existing machine than buy a new one. Where can I get a replacement part to allow me to use the local gas canisters? cmyplay try a local hardware store and see if there is an adapter for the different threads. If that is not an option, any decent machine shop could actually build one for you....

Chosen Solution My fone has to be charged before battery goes zero. Else it wont switch on. I have to give it to the service centre everytime that happens and they do a “battery boost” (dunno how that’s done) and phone is working again. but still same problem.. i some how manage to keep it charged before draining completely. But i have failed yet again.. my bad luck i am not anywhere near a service centre or can buy a new battery....

Chosen Solution So I’m having issues with fixing my iPhone 7. I managed to change the battery all correctly and it worked fine after that. After a while I started to try to add the adhesive between the display and the back cover for water resistance, but I botched it somehow and now the home button isn’t working anymore. After booting it says “Unable to activate Touch ID” and there is no reaction whatsoever to pushing the home button....
Chosen Solution I have a mainly functioning iPhone 7. It works as normal until it is switched off, then once turned back on, it hangs on the Apple logo, sometimes indefinitely, but sometimes will carry on starting up after around 15 minutes. To get out of this, I have to plug the phone into my pc and hold down power and volume down, then it works as normal. I’ve tried restoring via recovery mode and even DFU mode, but nothing has changed....
