Whenever your electronics suffer liquid damage, power it off, remove the battery, and either open it yourself or have a repair shop do it. Sounds like you’ll need the screen replaced. Take it to a repair shop and they should be able to help. Make sure you tell them you dropped it in the toilet....

Chosen Solution I installed a new LCD and the touch is unresponsive. Here is the kicker, the touch works as long as I don’t transfer over the speaker/camera components and home button and metal backing. Touch works great until I install those components? I have repaired thousands of iPhones and I have never ever seen this problem? Anyone else seen this problem or have a solution??? have you tried replacing the assembly with a different one....

Had to get a tech out here this morning: pulled the glass off, peeled back the display, and LEDs 3 and 4 were dark. #3 indicates a faulty video card; when booting up, Macs will follow the same sequence when powering up components, and if it gets to the graphics card and there’s a problem with it, it will not power up fully/boot up the OS....

I moved the unit away from the wall to check the waterlines and it started working. I assumed a pinched hose or something. Ice went back to normal size and water was coming through the door every time I pressed the dispenser lever. After 2 days it stopped working again....

After reassembly, internal keyboard and power button have zero response, but trackpad works fine. Checked the keyboard cable - it’s seated properly. I have tried two different top cases, one A stock, one B. Same result with both. Trackpad flex cable looked fine, but changed it just to be sure....

Chosen Solution Hello Everyone, I’m running into difficulty separating the shattered display from the chassis. The iFixit directions don’t exactly take that into account. Yes tape will help keep the glass from falling out, but the surface isn’t perfectly smooth. In turn, the suction cup can’t hang on tight enough. I’ve used clear packing tape to coat the screen, and reapplied it along the left edge numerous times throughout the adhesive heating process (NOTE: heating the adhesive strips will cause the tape adhesive to soften as well)....

I know it’s on because I can hear notification sounds and the charging notification sound.If I connect a brand new display to the logic board, the iPad will not turn on at all. When I connect the iPad to an 18W wall charger and a USB-C ammeter, I can see that the iPad is attempting to charge, but constantly “resets” after just a moment or two....

Recently I dropped it and was putting it back in place with a steel pry and well saw Sparks (So stupid) well the battery got fried, I had two other batteries which i tried and the iPhone would just heat up. Thanks i apologize, my previous response was for a different iphone. most commonly, the home button flex itself is the failure. this is what would need to be replaced, which will cause issues with the touch ID, if not syncronized with the motherboard....

When I flip the mute switch it shows on-screen ‘silent mood on/off’ but has no haptic at all. Chosen Solution breaker poped when flipped breaker the dryer came back on but the washer has no power. i have checked the outlet it is hot To reset, unplug for 5 minutes. In another section for the same situation you say to hit the stop button 2x n then the power button. My he3 has no stop or power button. To re-set the motor on a newer washer, unplug then plug the machine back in again....

Chosen Solution I have a Kenmore Elite 796.29272001 that won’t power on. Flipped the breaker and tried a known working outlet. Tested the power cord from the wall to the noise filter, 120V. Replaced the noise filter. EAM60930601 Replaced the main control board. EBR62198103 Replaced the main display board. EBR67460503 Still the unit will not power on. I figured having no power would be a pretty straight forward repair but it’s proving to be quite a pain....
