As well all know, this cannot easily be done. Now my keyboard issue is fixed but when I brought my laptop back home a strange thing with the network connection is occurring. my router is okay and all of the other devices at home are getting good connection status from anywhere around the house. But not my laptop. though my other devices are recognising few other signal from outside, my laptop is only showing my own router signal (and strangely enough, same signal twice)....

My MBA has been down for a long time now and I finally broke down and bought the transcend drive for it without realizing that even though the a1466 model number was in the transcend title it only works for the mid 2012 models. I am currently using it via usb to still use my MBA and have already designed up a little piece that will screw into the original SSD mounting hole and extend to secure the longer 2012 Transcend SSD....
Chosen Solution my MB 12 2015 was working until a few days ago and now it does not turn on. I assume that the battery is completely discharged and if I put it on charge the led I have on the usb-c cable turns on, so I assume that it is supplying current, but nothing happens. I tried to keep it open and connect the cable, but the small led next to the battery screw remains completely off....
Chosen Solution So this is the problem my jbl pulse 3 connet and pair with my iphone but it doesn’t pair with jbl app Jbl app says there is no speakers Not sure if this is a fix for this issue or just a coincidence, but if I activate Connect + button on my Pulse 3 the app seemed to actually find it. I’m hoping that it is what has been making it work, because the JBL Connect app really seems to suck at detecting speakers, and my experience with this detection issue is across 2 different phones and with a Pulse 2, Charge 3, Xtreme and the Pulse 3....

(works on UEFI based laptops at least… don’t know if it will work on everything) This only works if you can boot into windows (or other OS) ! It will reset you BIOS or UEFI password if you have forgotten it....

If you can it would point to a faulty earpiece flex assembly or the top speaker. If you are having difficulties hearing people from your earpiece speaker could be many things. My first thought is that there might be some debris clogging up the speaker grill....

Hi @combatman , I assume that you have proved that the backlighting is faulty by either using an external monitor or shining a torch at an angle close to the screen to see if the images are still there. If this is the case, then the backlighting LEDs may not be faulty, it may rather be either a faulty lid switch, a faulty LCD cable (or cable connections at either end) that supplies the power to the backlighting in the LCD screen or it could be a faulty screen as well, (the lights are integrated into the screen)....
Chosen Solution I spilled tea on my magic keyboard. I mopped up the spill and continued using until I noticed the keyboard acting funny. Then I remembered I was supposed to make sure I had drained out any remaining tea in the keyboard. Zero issues aside from strange power button issue. Thanks for any insight. The power button might need to be cleaned, as it might be sticking due to debris between the body of the Mac and the button. Otherwise, my assumption is that the issue could have something to do with the PSU....

Chosen Solution My wife and I purchased an desktop iMac a1311 from Facebook market place. It was perfectly functional but the seller hadn’t removed any of their personal info before selling it so my wife erased it (I believe it was a factory reset that she did). The computer now only boots in recovery mode, and we are unable to reinstall the operating system because it’s requiring the password of the person that sold it to us....
Chosen Solution It loads extremely slow and will not boot from the Snow Leopard disk purchased from Apple Store. Disk does not spin nor can I eject. Power down the system either pressing and holding the power button or pull the power cord. Then restart your computer hold down the mouse button. If you have a 2 button mouse, hold down the left click (default). Or, if that fails, if your computer has an eject key on the keyboard, restart the computer, this time hold the eject key....
