Chosen Solution I’ve got the uni body mid 2012 macbook pro and wanted to improve the speed. I’ve replaced the optical drive with an 1TB SSD and I’ve switched out the RAM so it’s now 16GB But it still feels a bit slow What am I doing wrong… Or Rather what haven’t I done. I’ve read up and apparently it’s better to install the OS onto the SSD, but is that still possible when the SSD is already in the mac and if so how can I do it and how do i keep all my stuff?...

Chosen Solution It should still be under warranty. Take it in. I also get a two year extended AppleCare warranty on any Apple product that I have issues with in the first year as they tend to come back the day after the warranty expires. In case it has already expired, request a “Warranty Exception” from the manager. I fixed my problem! Goto Setting -> General -> Accessibility -> Touch Accommodations, Turn on Touch Accommodations....

Chosen Solution I dropped my iPhone 5c the other day and watched the screen slowly fade to black. No cracks or anything, the fall couldn’t have been from more than waist high onto concrete. The phone fell with the screen up. I’ve experienced symptoms that have progressed as follows: First the screen showed a row of white squares at the bottom and that was it. The phone would still ring and I could still answer and field calls with the headset button....

Chosen Solution I recently replaced my iPhone 7’s screen using the iFixIt Screen Replacement Kit and corresponding guide. I had the battery discharged before working, disconnected the battery, and kept track of all screws and ribbon cables. After reassembly, the new screen worked good as new, no problems whatsoever. Until a day later when listening to music, the screen suddenly cut to black with the audio still playing. I turned it off shortly after, and left it that way overnight so I could look more into it the next day....

Chosen Solution Hello, I got a damaged iPhone 8 without iCloud but broken display and back, the old original display was not working at all, I couldn’t even test it, the cables were ripped. So I ordered a cheap screen from amazon to test if the phone is working and really iCloud free (no Sim tray so i didn’t knew the IMEI). Tested the screen without anything, just the screen. Chosen Solution I have some very strange problems with my iPhone 4S (16GB), I got it from my friend and he doesn’t know why the iPhone can’t start anymore. If I turn on the phone, I see the Apple Logo and after some seconds, the phones crashes and is restarting in a loop, always crashing on the Apple Logo. Chosen Solution I have an iPhone 12 Pro. I was charging it in the wall using a 5W original apple plug and USB-C to lightening cable. The charger blew up (black scorched and totally melted) and flipped the circuit breaker. I am guessing the capacitor in it exploded. The iPhone originally had a charge but does not turn on now - just a completely unresponsive black screen. It wont charge with a wireless charger either....

Chosen Solution I have a macbook 13" A1181 with a fried Core Duo 2.0GHz logic board. The person I took it from had spilled some liquid on it. I am planning to replace the logic board and wondering if I can upgrade it at the same time to a Core 2 Duo 2.4 GHz logic board since I’m already going to go through the trouble. As far as I can tell, the current logic board has a 4-wall heat sensor connector on the heatsink....

Chosen Solution Is this fixable or should I just buy a new tv? dknyboyz not it is not. that is a broken LCD panel. The only fix for the TV is to replace the panel. A lot of times those cost more than a new TV. You can always do a search with the panel number you can get from the label on the back of the panel (not the TV model)....

Chosen Solution Hi, I recently bought mini DisplayPort to HDMI, DVI and VGA adapter. The problem is with my Mac, when I connect a VGA cable to this adapter I’m getting a picture on external monitor. But, when using DVI cable I don’t get a picture, or picture shows for a few sec and then on external display I see like white noise (this depends on the monitor, tried with 2 DELL monitors 23” and 24”)....

Chosen Solution My ps3 is refurbished (had it about two months). I had the thermal replaced and it isn’t overheating. However, when I play a disc for about 30 min to 1 hr, the system shuts off and shows me the blinking red light. When I play online/downloads, I don’t have this issue. I opened up the ps3 after it shut off and it wasn’t hot. A tad warm but nothing significant....

Chosen Solution I bought a Mac 27 late 2013 and when I turn it on I gave it the Password then it ask me for a 4 digit passcode which i don’t have. Please help. You’ll need to speak with the original owner of the system. The passcode is part of the two part authentication system now used in the newer OS’s. Without passing the test you can’t access the system....

Try plugging it to a charger than if it actually chargers or turns on use a HDMI cable to view the tablet on screen and than connect a mouse to USB port and if you have the keyboard with touchpad that connects with USB would be better and now you can use the thrive for now to test

Chosen Solution There is sound but no picture. No image in a dark room while holding a flashlight up. Tried replacing the main power board, the logic board and the led driver board and still nothing. Occasionally when it attempts to turn on, there is a quick flash..but only maybe 20 percent of the time. This quick flash that happens sometimes makes me question if the LED panel if actually the problem....

Hi Alan, There are no USB3 ports on the model you have, so the data connection would default to a USB 2.0 standard, this happens as when we plug a USB 2.0 hub into a a USB 3.0 ported Mac/PC too, it defaults to USB 2.0 because the one link in the chain is slow and bottlenecks the others....

Chosen Solution I have an early 2015 MacBook retina a1534 that I just repaired the c-port and replaced some ribbons and the touchpad. Everything is working fine, except the internal speakers. I can plug in headphones and get audio, just nothing through the internal speakers. Internal speakers do show up as an output device. Chosen Solution Hi, I am attempting to repair and iPad air 1474. It does not charge and the docking port looks ok upon visual inspection with a magnifying glass. I have tried every known combination of reset and recovery mode. It does not get recognised by a computer or with iTunes running. After trying everything, I assessed that the fault is hardware based.
