Chosen Solution I poked my top microphone hole with a sim ejector tool what damage does that do? Does that damage anything? It’s a Note 11 pro plus If you poked through the case onto the mic it is most likely ok. Now, if you forced it into the hole and on the mic there may be a damaged mic or worse a damaged board. Give it a try and see if it still works....

However, my issue now is that I can’t install a newer OS from the downloads I get off of the Apple website. The error “this download is damaged, you should put it in the trash” keeps coming up. Chosen Solution 55" TCL has an intermittent issue powering up to a black screen. Clear indications of backlight are present. Occasionally, if left on, all operations will return to normal after awhile. Once working, it will be fine until powered off again. The delay once it fails is getting longer with time. Been getting increasingly worse for months. Too unreliable for daily use. Extended warranty covered it with a refund, but I don’t want to just discard it....
Chosen Solution I installed a new battery from ifixit. Macbook booted but internal keyboard and touchpad didn’t work and computer lagged badly. I just installed a new touchpad flex cable and the lagging stopped but the internal keyboard and touchpad still don’t work. What is next? Chosen Solution I suspect my hard drive is showing signs of dying. I have noticed that some files that I download are ‘corrupt’ and they wont open. Also, at times my iMac suddenly freezes for no reason with the rolling coloured ball and the only way to get out of it is by switching the iMac off. I have tried see if there’s an issue by running First Aid in Disk Utility and what ends up happening is everything freezes up and I have to switch the iMac off from the back....
