Chosen Solution Hi, I have an iPhone 6 which I bought not turning on. The screen is cracked. I have opened it up and both water sensors are still white so doesn’t look like water damage. I have changed the screen and battery but it is not switching on. It is also not being recognised in iTunes. The motherboard isn’t getting hot or overheating. Any ideas? Chosen Solution is it easy to do for an average repair? johnh I suppos you are looking for the turn signal realy. It is located behind the center of the instrument panel. The stereo needs to be removed to gain access. The color of the 3 wires going to the relay are light green, purple, and black. the cost for that is around $35-50 USD

Chosen Solution Scratchy recording, no voice to text, no google assistance, google voice search, no caller can hear me unless on speakerphone, video rec is also scratchy Hi @autoair , Use a strong light and a magnifying glass to visually check if the voice inlet hole on the bottom edge of the phone is blocked with lint etc. If it appears to be blocked (or even not) do not use a pin or probe to try and clear it as you may damage something....

Chosen Solution I pulled apart my 1.8 20” as the airport wasn’t working, and was going to try the airport card from my 2.0 17”, but the 17” didn’t have the same card. In fact it appears to use the same card from the iSight models but without the tricky case design. Fan and ducting layout is different as well. Chosen Solution Hi all, I’ve been having issues with my 5S over the past few weeks. Started two few weeks back after I dropped it and the screen cracked slightly. A few days after, I had an issue where the phone stopped recognizing the SIM card (constantly said “Searching…”), but that was fixed with a software update. A few days after that, my phone started restarting intermittently, with erratic battery percentage readouts- sometimes it’d drop to low battery mode and need to be plugged in before it could turn back on, after which the percentage would jump back to ~60%....

So I’ve took it apart again and noticed a tiny rip in the home button ribbon cable....

Chosen Solution The original screen has metal drop in clips. The new one has plastic slide in clips on the top of the screen. Where can I find a replacement one with the metal clips on top with the proximity sensor and stuff. Please put links You have an iPhone 8 or 8 plus most likely if the phone’s back is made out of glass and the original screen had 3 metal clips at the top of the screen....
