Chosen Solution A few weeks ago, I’ve noticed that my iphone 5 screen was coming out and was nothing happening after that until this week, my phone keeps restarting/rebooting whenever on i was on an app. Its only good when im charging it. It sounds like the battery is swelling. Put in a new battery and you should be fine.
Chosen Solution My iPhone 5 won’t power on or recharge after trying everything. I even tried disconnecting the battery and plugging it in to the computer, but still nothing shows up. Is this a dock connector issue, or perhaps a logic board issue? Phone is out of warranty so I can’t take back to Apple. Wes Kroesbergen, couple of things you do want to try. Chosen Solution Hey everyone. First post here. I’ve been trying my hand at Iphone repairs lately and I’m at a point where I’m sort of stumped. I bought an Iphone 6 that was sold as a “dead Iphone”. They said it sometimes showed the Itunes logo and the phone would intermittently connect to itunes. I replaced the lightning port with a known good one. The phone still isn’t recognized by Itunes but when you plug the phone into a wall charger the backlight comes on but nothing else....

Chosen Solution Changed two batteries with iFixit battery kit. First iPhone 6 worked perfectly. Second iPhone 6 will not power on at all. Nothing comes on screen. Will not connect to iTunes. Chosen Solution After replacing a broken iPhone X screen I try to enter the passcode on the phone and after pressing the final digit the phone freezes and doesn’t proceed, cannot be locked and can only be hard reset. Can still receive and take phone calls but can’t get past the lock screen. Problem persists after old screen reinstalled. Any ideas? Cheers I have had this weird bug once. Chosen Solution My Iron is plugged in and is still not powering on or heating up, could the cord be broken? Have you tried a different plug? Or maybe the iron needs more water. Chosen Solution My laptop gets hot while I am using it and the fan seems to be working harder than it should be. Could this be an overheating issue? And if so how can I repair it? This could be an overheating issue and your fan could possibly be going out. If your fan is loud it needs to be replaced. Another symptom for overheating is your computer is turning off on you....
Chosen Solution I have 3 TVs in my man cave, all of which are running a firestick for streaming. When I go to change one channel, all 3 change. Is there a way to setup to where the individual remotes are tied to just one firestick? Are the 3 tvs same make and model? if so, try disabling HMDI CEC or connect the firesticks to a non HDMI CEC port. I had two TCL tvs that were doing the same thing....

Chosen Solution Tentatively opened my Xbox Elite 2 as it’s outside of warranty so I’m unlikely to get much out of MS at this point. I have little to no response from both bumpers, and spotty response from my A button, so I’m opening it to see if there’s any obvious issues that I can solve. As soon as I opened it I found a loose screw stuck to one of the paddle magnets, but no obvious hole for it....
Chosen Solution It appears the ipad works, but black screen all the time. Tried many hard resets, banging it and reseting, makes sounds and is recognized by computer when pushing home and power buttons. What part should I be replacing? If it is not a software issue ( and you seem to say it is not ), the LCD is probably at fault. Try the software restore first, but if that fails to fix it, you can follow iFixit’s guide to replacing the LCD....
Chosen Solution I have a late-2013 21.5” EMC 2638 that I’ve rebuilt from a dropped unit. The dropped unit still booted and functioned via an external display. I bought an empty 2638 casing and took all the components over and installed them in the recommended order, along with a new 1TB SSD. I ordered a new LCD, and all seemed well. Currently when I hit the power button, I get 2 of 4 diagnostic LEDs lighting up, and the fan begins to spin....

You can try some of the professional forensic labs that specialize in this type of recovery. Those are of course very pricey....

Chosen Solution I have a 21.5" late 2009 iMac that will not turn on. Pressing the power button gives no response (no chime, no lights, no fan).
