Chosen Solution I have photos on the phone. It tells me they are saved. I looked into google drive and cannot find them. Well I can find some photos but I cannot find the latest ones (which would indicate to me that that was the place where photos are being saved) Where exactly are photos saved? On android if you are storing on the internal phone storage point a file manager app to the internal storage and then look in /DCIM/Camera folder....

If you never reinstalled macOS you may be able to partition recovery or recover files using some software or bootable partition manager. I think EaseUS do Macbook recovery software, I have got a few things back from customers using their free version :) Other than that it is likely that your data is gone unless you hold time machine backups or cloud backups

Chosen Solution Hello, I recently replaced my iMac’s screen after the last one had a nasty crack on it. After I got everything together, I fired up the machine and during the POST, the fan started up at full speed, the machine loaded but the CPU was so taxed, everything slowed to a crawl. Upon further inspection, I realized that I neglected to install the monitor temp sensor. I pulled the old sensor off the old screen, installed it in the new one, and fired up the machine again, no affect....

Chosen Solution This lady wanted me to replace the digitizer on her iPad 2. I just started taking some shards off the bottom left hand side of the screen (using a heat gun/tweezers). Normally, immediately once I get to the transparent glass there is no adhesive left but it seems there’s some kind of clear glue holding the lcd/digitizer together. I did notice that the edges of the screen (under the black glass) was stuck on using (only) a wide piece of black double-sided tape (NO clear goo)....

You will most likely have to restore the iPad to factory defaults, so it would be very helpful if you have a back up of the device, and to know your Apple ID and password.
