Chosen Solution Have done some digging online and although i have found several posts with the same issue nothing seems to be the exact same. basically the keyboard and mouse only work outside of the OSX. in other words it only works on initial boot prior to the apple chimes. they work in pre boot diagnostic, i can reset the pram. but as soon as the chimes have finished and the osx begins to load the keyboard and mouse suddenly turn off....

Chosen Solution Was going to replace the ps4 thermal paste because it is a couple years old and was beginning to have overheating issues. However when opened I see this. It looks nothing like the guides and was wondering if this is bad? The thermal paste looked dry, the board shows signs of heat, you might consider an after market fan , if it fires up and runs it is ok, I would run a newer fan if I was you....
