Chosen Solution Hi! About a couple months ago my Oppo Find 5 (OPPO X909) started having issues with charging and eventually reached the point where it won’t charge anymore. I thought it was the battery at first (which I may replace anyways assuming I find a way to fix this issue) but then I found that the charging port itself was the issue. I would have to bend the charger in a certain way just to get a connection or it would just stay plugged in but not charging....

Chosen Solution Is there a source for the external plastic shroud for the battery pack? I have a battery that took a tumble and the front face isn’t fully secure anymore. If anyone can point me in the right direction for obtaining just replacing the plastic surrounding of the battery, I would appreciate it. Have you asked your local parts supplier in the USA? But it does look like it come with the battery....

Chosen Solution I accidentally connected the IPD cable backwards and I saw bit of smoke come from the trackpad. After that the trackpad no longer worked and every time I booted the computer the trackpad would get really hot. So I figured it’s time to replace it, and so I did and the trackpad worked once again, but the keyboard did not. I kept playing around with the IPD flex for a bit wiggling it and I finally saw the caps lock powering on but after about a second it turned off....

Chosen Solution I cannot get the tablet to charge. @winnie409 you want to start off by telling us what you have checked. If nothing yet, then you want to go ahead and use a different charger. Also try a different cable. If still no charge, try to wiggle the cable. Some of the lesser know tablets have a tendency of losing the functionality of the charging port. If none of that yields any result, consider opening up your tablet and exchange the battery and possibly the charging port....

Since you forgot your Google account you can try and see if you can recover it through Google’s website. If not, you could possibly try this....

A couples of days ago the laptop won’t start on battery only connected with the USB power adapter and also now have a blinking screen and the spacebar and keys have some troubles Also, the OS says battery services recommended There are a couple of troubleshooting steps that you can try, and these are ineffective, please reach out to Customer Support at support@ifixit....

Chosen Solution I have a 15” Mid-2014 MacBook Pro that just died. The SSD is still good however, and I’d like to repurpose it as a portable hard drive if that’s possible. If you installed it properly and it looks as described in your pictures, then it most likely was damaged when shipping to you or you accidentally were too aggressive with it....

Chosen Solution I have an iPhone 5s that I cant restore (error 4013), Ive tried DFU mode and everything. It just loops the apple logo and flashes a red screen in between sometimes. Losing data is not a concern I just need to get this phone working all help greatfully received! Try unplugging the front camera cable and try restoring the phone again. Chosen Solution I bought an iPhone 6 for 50 euro that i knew flash wasn’t working so i thought it was a bargain. When taking a picture it pops a flash, then shoots the photo, so its the same as shooting without flash. It also won’t turn on as a flashlight from the control center, however it does with a 3rd party app. When recording a video , everything seems to work good....

Chosen Solution I replaced the screen on an iPhone 8 plus with iOS 12.0 installed, a few days later the touch became intermittent, sometimes it works great sometimes and won’t respond. I updated to iOS 12.2 hoping to resolve the issue but the issue only got worse. screen sometimes would just freeze, I tab the messages app and it won’t respond after a few tabs now it works, screen is too sensitive, all apps could start to wiggle as if I touched and held an app longer that 3-4 second when in reality I barely touched it....
