The LCD now shows white with large vertical black lines. Faulty LCD?l Sure sounds like a faulty LCD but you won’t know until you test it. I would test another LCD and if that doesn’t fix it, it could be related to the board repair you had done....

Is it possible to get this repaired? of course it is, just depends what repair shop you go to jackiewarner yes it is but will require some work. You will have to disassemble your Kindle and could be using this video as a guide. Then you have to un-solder the old connector and replace it with a new one....
Chosen Solution I don’t think there is an actual damage to the lcd but the glass cover has scratches a dots that i can feel is it possible to just replace the glass cover and not the whole screen? It is possible, but it is held down by adhesive, and its actually a plastic screen lens, so it scratches easily. I’ve seen people heat it up with a hairdryer, but I would use ifixit’s Iopener thing....

The laptop is running fine but the keys are crunchy… I have taken off the keycaps and removed as much as I can but it has gotten under the mechanism. Is there a guide on how to remove the mechanism without breaking it? First of all, the mechanism is the infamous butterfly switch and not the scissor switch sadly. There is no great way to take the key caps off because if you do attempt to take the key cap off you will very likely damage the flimsy and delicate butterfly switch....
Chosen Solution I found my chilhood N64 and it did’t work, so I cleaned it and it worked but no sound. I have checked the cables and conectors with a multimeter and they are fine. In my research to find a solution I have found that the capacitors that process the audio might need replacing and that HDMI ultra mod bypasses this problem and does the processing on its own. The HDMI mod its way too expensive for me, so my question is: wich capacitors I have to replace on the board and how do I do it without messing up my N64?...

Chosen Solution Wow thats a long post, sounds like you have multiple problems. firstly the history of the phone is unknown so I would go for long screw damage on the lcd metal plate anchors for the blue screen. If a long screw is put into the wrong place this basically drills intot he circuit board and cuts tracks. This is a very expert fix if at all possible. This needs sorting 1st....
