Chosen Solution Image started to cut away and eventually would not display an image, but does power on/off. Does anyone know where to target the repair. I’m thinking it’s either the screen itself or the cable between the screen and connection or both. Does anyone have any opinions on this issue or have had the same issue and what repairs and parts did you buy?
Chosen Solution Hi all, long story short, there is now Sharpie ink on the notification LED under the speaker grill on the front of the phone. I know I can remove it with rubbing alcohol, but trying to leach it off by letting alcohol set on the grill & then soaking it up with a QTIP failed to remove it, it just diluted it and let it spread out over the LED even more, so now it’s all but invisible....

After 15mins, i go ahead and check my iPhone and it was still on 80% i found that a bit odd so i unplug the charger and plug it back in....

I would recommend that you follow the steps in this article to calibrate the battery algorithm. Chosen Solution i replaced the screen. iPhone is working fine but phone doesn’t charge even after keeping it connected to the charger. It is loosing the charge instead. I checked charging port flex and changed the battery too. None of the troubleshooting worked. try to change the charging port,if doesn’t work maybe during your screen replacement you accidentally damaged you motherboard and cause short circuit,try to find the charging circuit and check the circuit

I replaced the screen following the tutorial and using the ifixit replacement screen. After spending two days with it, I’ve noticed lower quality and I don’t believe it’s just that True Tone is not working. The viewing angles are not as good and whites seem grainy. Chosen Solution I cannot find any info on google is it possible to change c 302 battery if yes how hard is it ? Thank you It is possible to change the battery and it isn’t that hard. Make sure you unscrew the screws that are hiding under the rubber padding first tho because I didn’t realize they were under there. Nothing was damaged tho. All you have to do is remove the screws along the outside and then pry open the back....

Strange you can’t even see Safari when you search for it. You could try doing a factory settings restore through iTunes (of course, make sure you back up first!) That should bring it back. i think your device has been jailbroken, what you have to do is plug it into the computer, download the ifunbox, delete all your cydia apps....
