Chosen Solution Just replaced iphone 6s battery with ifixit iphone 6s battery replacement kit and guide. I followed the instructions including draining battery and charging it fully. The iphone shuts down at about 80%. It will not turn on until it is plugged back in to a power outlet with the apple charging cable. its possible that the battery just needs to be calibrated but after a few charging cycles and the problem is still there i would consider contacting Ifixit and letting them know and they might send a replacement battery....

Chosen Solution is it hard to replace the outer screen for a iphone 5c? I broke the outer glass and bought another one. Yes, special equipment and skill required. Unless you plan to open a refurbishment line yourself, there is no point to buy equipment and learn to do so.

Chosen Solution I was doing my first ever repair and started with a JoyCon of mine that has severe drift but don’t use anymore before I fixed a JoyCon with drift that I do use. While in the process of swapping the joysticks, I think I pinched my cable because my joystick didn’t work when I was testing it. Chosen Solution I recently broke the screen on my Pixel 6 Pro, however the replacement is out of stock. The Pixel 7 Pro Display seems to have the exact same dimensions as the Pixel 6 Pro display and the specs only seem to differ for the maximum brightness. The question is therefore if it is possible to just use the newer and slightly better version of what seems to be mostly the same display as a replacement for the broken one or if i am mistaken about the dimensions, a different connector is used or the difference in power usage makes the swap impossible....

Chosen Solution When viewing mainly blues and oranges on my tablet, there are thin lines of lighter colour going across the display, about half a mm apart. These look quite unsightly, even when viewing 20 to 30cm away. Please have a look at the image - I’ve circle around an example. I wonder if I am seeing the pixels - they just seem too visible. The old 40 pin DIP packages always had a pin 1 mark that corresponds to a similar mark on the circuit board. You can see both marks in your photo; I’ve added arrows pointing to them. I can’t tell from the picture; is it socketed or soldered? From my days working with the 8086 processors, I remember it being easy to bend a pin so it curled under the socket instead of going into the pin hole....

Chosen Solution I wanted to know if I could get a screen replacement as my OLED has accumulated way too many scratches for my liking. It’s still a pretty new product so it’s gonna take some time for replacement parts to arrive. All are either connected with precision plastic connectors that snap together or have a lever to unlock/lock a connector (black or white lever). Many tiny connectors are just snap-in types. This keyboard has Cherry MX Switches, a type of mechanical switch which, admittedly, can get pretty loud. Do you know what sort of switch you have? The greens and blues can get quite loud, and the browns are nothing to scoff at, either. You should know that as you become used to the keyboard, you learn where in the stroke the key is triggered and can stop after that point....
