Thank you W.W. wanda, the TV being completely dead could be something as simple as a bad fuse. If the fuse is okay the problem could be a bad power board or a bad main board. You’d really would have to start a more in depth trouble shooting....
Chosen Solution Hi there I have change my digitzer glass after as been broken. I notice after some while it restarting, when I using it normal. I thought it was the battery so I change than, but before I close (glue/tape) together, it does the same error with rebooting/restarting. I think flex cable cause my little issues. Chosen Solution After I turn on the player or want to change discs, I have to press the OPEN button numerous times to get the drawer to open. It is probably due to the fact that the device is older and the open button is starting to fail from normal wear and tear. If it is a huge annoyance I would just recommend getting a new player as it most likely isn’t worth trying to find a new part and repair the device, unless you want to attempt the repair for the heck of it :)

I don’t have illuminated light. Black complete as when is off! i checked the LCD is working with another iPad so it’s not the LCD. Chosen Solution I just recently replaced the iPad LCD on my iPad Mini 2 and got it working thanks to another person on here. After the repair everything seemed to be going pretty well, up until the point that I pushed the button on the top of the iPad to turn the screen off. I went to turn the screen back on and only the back light was responding. If I wanted to see the screen I would have to soft reset, seven seconds of power + home button pressing, before there would be any information of the screen....

I recently purchased a new LCD panel and installed it into the iPad however the iPad is now completely unresponsive and will not show as connected when I plug into a computer. it is possible I forgot to isolate the battery on the original repair so I am not sure what to do about this....

Chosen Solution Hello there so I have a iPhone 5 that I repalced the screen and the new screen is very dim. Is it the backlight IC or the backlight filter? I stupidly reseat a the old screen with the battery plugged in it didn’t fry the logic board but it did fry the old screen and the backlight filter or ic. Could be both but usually it is just the filter that blows as a fuse....

There don’t seem to be any correlation between when it will charge are not. I’m using ONLY apple parts and on the last test is when I plug it into a computer. I have switch around the cables between the computer and adapters and the result was constant with 12 or more cables cables....

Please help, any answer would be great! Hi Shane, Did you disconnect the battery before you disconnected the display? If you did, it could be you fried (damaged) your backlight fuse on the motherboard. If you’re not entirely sure, you could check if your phone still works by standing in a dark room and pointing a flashlight at your screen when you assume it should be on....
