Chosen Solution i dropped in water along with phone, phone is working fine but smart battery is not charging and if I plug iPhone 7 in it , smart battery is heating and phone discharging. i tried to charge the battery separately there is no sign of charging. The iPhone has IP67 water resistance, not the case. There is most likely a short. Chosen Solution I dropped my Sony Xperia1 compact. The date and time still shows up, and so do messages from Xperia, but the touch screen does not work at all. @griselda sounds like a broken digitizer. In that case you would still see your screen but can’t do anything with it. Unless you have the right tools Like a LCD/glass separator etc. I suggest that you replace the complete assembly. Chosen Solution I am working on a customers iPhone 5S, which is throwing an extremely weird issue. Customer came in for a screen replacement, the screen itself is not cracked or damaged, it’s just ‘dark’ and has an Apple Logo burned into the screen which can be see on a white background. The screen the customer originally had on their phone is NOT an original Apple part/screen. When using a replacement screen (I have tried 3 - 4 screens), there is no picture being shown on any of the screens (phones shows erratic AMP draw, at around 1,5 Amps briefly, before settling into what appears to be a normal AMP draw for booting....
