Chosen Solution I recentyly replaced a cracked touch-screen on my ipad 3, however, i found that the backlights on the righthand side is not working. The screen on the lefthand side is more brightnes than the righthand side. Did anyone know how to fix it? Thank you. Try to perform a hard reset by holding home and power button for 20 sec. Maybe that will help. : ) This issue is caused by accidentally shorting out a backlight coil, IC, and/or filter while removing the LCD ribbon cable....

Chosen Solution Replaced the screen on an IPad 5, left overnight on charge, ipad did not charge at all but was showing the lightening bolt as if it was charging. When I woke the screen, only then did it started to charge up… Turned the iPad off to let it charge, turned back on after 15 mins and charge was 17% , then dropped suddenly down to 10% charge Anyone have any ideas what the cause could be?...
Chosen Solution Hi. In the process of removing the Trista IC 1610A3 the capacitor C4501 & C4502 were knocked off and they are so tiny that I can’t solder them back on. It is ok to leave these capacitors out. Here is the schematic. These cap are connected from ground to line that go to the tristar. T hanks. They are on Tristar VDD 3V line. I would try to solder them back though....
Chosen Solution Hi, iPhone 7 photos won’t show up on the MacBook photos app to import. The iPhone 7 has about 2,000 photos but the photos app only imported 207 and won’t show that there is more. Anyone know of a fix? This is just out of my experience, are you sure those photos are in the phone and not reflected from the Cloud?

My buddy dropped his iPhone X and stated that his screen is cracked near the forward facing camera and the forward camera is also not working. I had him order a new screen and also a new front camera flex cable in case it was damaged from the drop. Fast forward to the screen replacement. The screen was installed and the battery needed to be removed to install the flex cable....

As we know power usage/tdp, cooling, connection type and form factor, would there be any newer version, either by AMD or Nvidia? Chosen Solution I spilled coffee on the keyboard, took it to Geek Squad and they checked. Luckily, the inside parts are completely fine. The problem I am currently facing is that the space bar and two other bottom left keys are a little bit sticky because of the coffee that fell on them. Is there any way to clean them or do I have to replace the whole part? Ouch! These keyboards are tricky!...

I’m thinking it might be possible considering that the keyboard is some special “SteelSeries Gaming Keyboard” and it seems like it might be able to come off. Chosen Solution I’m replacing the display on my iMac 27” (mid 2017). While swapping out the new display, I notice the replacement doesn’t have the same black “tape” on the back of the monitor. I think it’s there so the display back doesn’t touch any of the power components. Anyone know if this is anti-static “tape”? If so, would anyone know where I can purchase it. Thanks! The function is strictly Insulating to prevent an electrical pathway....
Chosen Solution I have had my ps3 for a while and it has a lot of my favorite games like Jak and daxter. Ive took it apart and i don’t think it has thermal paste or pads is that my problem? Is it only disk games or is that all youve tested it on? It sounds like an overheating issue to me. Try replacing the paste if you really don’t see any....

Chosen Solution Will the preinstalled screen protector on my S10e keep the screen from cracking if dropped? Should I replace it with glass? I have never gone without a glass protector, I am on residential jobsites and the phone gets dropped occasionally. Not excited to use the frequently discussed Whitestone Dome Glass!! Any drop from the right angle and height can crack a screen no matter the screen protector type. The factory protector is designed more for pocket lint (quartz), purse placement, etc....

Chosen Solution Keyboard not working in MacBook Pro 13” mid 2014. All reset keys works at when powering up. Also when force turn off (shift+control+option) it works. It turns off the machine. I Did the SMC, PRAM, and NVRAM. Also did the Hardware Test (option+D). No issues shows. Keyboard works for 5 seconds when powered up(at boot). Setups I did. Power Key presses Pressed the caps lock(green light comes on) worked for 5 sec Pressed the Space Bar at hardware test to connect Internet....

Check connections and ground wires that connect to the frame.
