Chosen Solution Hi Guys, My LED flashlight is acting up so I’m thinking I need to replace the whole volume / power / LED flash ribbon. As it’s a big job, I’ve just tried connecting the new ribbon to the motherboard to test everything - it’s not a repair I wanna make to find out something doesn’t work on the ribbon! I’ve tried 2 ribbons (from the same seller) and everything appears to work except the LED flash only stays on for between 5 - 20 seconds and then auto switches itself off… When I go back in to the Control Center the flashlight is showing as still activated....
Chosen Solution I start the computer and it boots normally and the functions for a couple of minutes before suddenly freezing because the SSD drive disconnects itself. If I try to use the Macbook as an external drive and plug it into another computer, it also suddenly ejects after a few minutes of actual use (it sometimes will remain connected until any kind of data read/write operation takes place). Chosen Solution I plug the tablet into the charger, but it will not charge. Why? You might have a damaged charging port. If your charging port is intact and has little to no damage you will have to replace your battery.
