Chosen Solution Hi I have an IPhone 6S that is fake Charging. I have replaced Tristar and Tigris 2 times. I have also jumped the mosfet. I get zero volts at the battery connector. The phone does boot up with usb charger connected and also get the lightning bolt. But zero current is being drawn from the charger. Sounds like the battery is dead. Apple offers battery replacement for cheap. You could check with the apple store....
Chosen Solution Some weeks ago i reported, that i replaced the screen and the battery of an iPhone 8, but the homebutton stopped working. I cleaned and checked all connectors and i ordered a replacement homebutton, but this still didnt fix my problem. Touch ID (with old homebutton) and Taptic Enginge both work fine. What could be the problem, if I already replaced the screen and the homebutton? Thanks for your help...
Chosen Solution My iphone xs max mic does not work for voice memo and when call is on speaker . All other mics seem to work. I believe it is a hardware problem. Does anyone know where the voice memo mic is located? Depending on iPhone model, there’s between 3-4 microphones in them nowadays. Chosen Solution Had a issue with iPod not staying on. The screen said battery to low. Got a battery replacement kit from ifixit and still won’t hold a charge. It seems fine while charging but shuts down as soon as I unplug the charger. @jorshay unlikely that is it the battery since it is an ifixit batery. Possible of course. This model iPod is plagued by a bad battery connector. It even has the tendency of breaking off the board....
Chosen Solution This series is in great demand! So getting replacement logic board will be expensive and can be hard to find. As to what you can jump to you can upgrade to any of the 17” A1297 boards. You can’t install any 15” logic board as the design is very different.
Chosen Solution Is it possible to substitute the battery without sending it to service? Berrnado does not look like it’s going to be easy to get into. Until anybody creates a teardown on iFixit, I suggest you take a look on here you could probably remove the back casing on the headphones. just make sure to be very careful when fixing it, and you may need to solder it so be very careful....
Chosen Solution Hi, My favourite Macbook Pro 17-inch A1297 2011 model is powering on, with black screen. I tried resetting (CTRL,Shift,ALT,Power & CMD,ALT,P,R) many times, but nothing changed. I can hear Apple Logo chime, I can hear HDD working, as it is loading OS (High Sierra) , I can see keyboard backlight turning on/off depending of external lightning, but screen is totally black, no backlight at all (tried with a torch just in case)....

Sony authorized service inspected and quoted for display panel replacement, the cost is closer to new TV and I don’t think it is worth. Chosen Solution The TV stopped displaying any pictures for any devices connected to the 4 HDMI inputs on the rear of the set. I’ve connected DirecTV, Cable, and my receiver to the all of the HDMI inputs with no picture displaying. I’ve reinitialized the set using both Menu2470/initalize/enter and Menu123enter/initialize reset the inputs to the HDMI 1 set it for cable and still nothing on the screen or audio. Chosen Solution Strange One. iPad 6 has come in with a busted LCD. I have a new tested and working LCD from a iPad 5 and its just showing static (grey dots etc with no picture visible). I tried a damaged but still working iPad Air LCD with the same issue. I then found a damaged but still working iPad 6 LCD and it worked no problem at all apart from the already known damage as its a test LCD....
