Chosen Solution Hi, device is an iPhone 6s, came in with no power and wasn’t drawing any power from charger. First thoughts were charging port as Lightning Cable felt a wee bit loose when connected I placed a new battery on top of the old one just to attempt to power on device and it booted on just fine. I tried charging once powered on but still nothing. Therefore I went ahead and changed the charging port but still the device won’t charge or be picked up by computer....

Chosen Solution Hello. I replaced a screen and LCD for an iPhone 7 Plus and it seems as if the home button is not responsive. When it’s asleep I hit the home button and it doesn’t wake. When I hit the power button it wakes up. Am I missing something or doing something wrong? I’m using an iPhone 6 Plus and it wakes up when I hit the home button. It stays showing this....

Chosen Solution So i got my battery replaced in an unofficial place, it worked fine until for some reason (probably bc of a drop) it didnt work when disconnected, and then on the second drop it started bootooping when i had it plued in and when unplugged, nothing. Please help. Thanks Take it to whoever repaired it. Most repair shops offer some sort of warranty on their work.

Chosen Solution My iphone 6s suddenly dropped from 80% charge to 30% and then died. Apple service center told its the battery /charging port issue and hence I replaced them. However, now the iphone dosen’t charges with any iphone lightning cables I have from previous devices. Infact, I tried two brand new cables from friends who have iphone 8 and X, but same issue. When I went back to service center they told the iphone is charging with their cable....

Chosen Solution Pretty much the title - I was replacing the screen since it was cracked, but noticed that the front camera module could move approx. 3mm whilst in the housing. Could this cause FaceID to not function properly? Causes for Face ID failure can be flexible and complex. Like broken flex cables or water damage. While in there, I was thinking of going to a faster logic board - the 2017 uses faster RAM, has faster CPU, and has 4 PCIe lanes so can run the SSD at 4x (over 2GB/s) vs. mine which is maxed out just over 500MB/sec. Chosen Solution it is showing “replace drum and cartridge model MFC 7860 DW @gowri okay your “Replace Drum” error message usually indicates that your drum unit is at the end of life. The toner cartridge assembly may need to be changed as well. Chosen Solution My friend’s laptop was open and around alcohol when another friend spilled vodka on it. The laptop still turns on and seems to be okay, but the keyboard is completely unresponsive. Is it possible to repair this or should we just pitch in for a new one? Clean the computer properly with high grade isopropyl alcohol (no, Vodka does not qualify) then dry it off. May use an oven at 100deg C for 20 min or so to dry it....

Chosen Solution I have a 5s with water damage that I would like to repair but don’t want to replace the U2 chip without some practice. I have an old iphone 4 and 4s’s with water damage. Since the 4/s’s are going away and are not supported, I don’t really care if I mess them up and was going to practice removal/installation of the iphone U2 IC BGA chip. Chosen Solution On my 2004 Odyssey, none of the interior lights will work when you open a door or turn them on by the dash switch. The only exceptions are the two map lights that come on with the switch. All fuses are good. Try inspecting the fuse box. If all the lights are dead, my bet is a blown fuse. Your user manual should tell you where the box is (my money is on driver’s side, either under the dash by the e-brake or on the side of the dash, accessible by opening the driver’s side door) as well as what fuses do what....
