It costs $642 which I think is expensive, especially as it’s gone out of production, but it’s the only i7 that my iMac can be upgraded with, so here goes… Thats way to high! You can find them for less! Intel Core i7-7700K Kaby Lake Quad-Core 4.2 GHz LGA and I know that’s still also on the high side....

Chosen Solution Usually when a battery isnt charged for a long time it starts to decay and becomes unchargable. I recommend taking it to apple or a local apple authorized repair shop. This is realy commen issue and if it turns out bot to be battery it might be water damage.

Chosen Solution so I changed the battery on my iphone 6s by removing the screen. after trying to restart, it is showing me that it cannot activate touch id. hard restarting does not work the home button working tho, it is not recognizing fingerprints anymore. Chosen Solution I was replacing the screen on the phone, and when I plugged it back in and turned it on, it started boot looping. I put in into DFU mode, and restored it with iTunes and it gave me error 4013. What may have caused this and what on the logic board might be faulty? Try booting up the phone with front camera and home button extension connector unplugged from the board....
Chosen Solution Rice wont do any good to your water damaged phone. You can try your DFU restores but I suspect that its the Display itself or the Board because you said it has a cracked back water might have seeped in through the back damaging touch function. I suggest you take it in a reputed repair store and let the take a look. I’m sure it’s not that a big issue if they have the right tools to figure it out!...

Chosen Solution My iMac late 2009 (2.66 GHz Core i5, model A1312 aka EMC 2374, iMac11,1) is not booting in regular mode. The screen breaks up and the boot stalls. It boots in safe mode with some glitches (e.g., the mouse pointer has a square grid of horizontal lines). From what I have discovered so far, this is most likely a GPU glitch. I have seen ideas like pulling out the graphics card and baking at 200°C, which strikes me as hit and miss and reballing the BGA (for which I would struggle to find a shop)....

You could swap out the logic board for one that has more RAM, but consider the expense. The drive (SSD) is replaceable! So you can do that.
