Chosen Solution While trying to repair a broken IPOD 6, I noticed that the clip that holds the display ribbon cable in place is broken. While I am reconciled to the idea of possibly replacing the motherboard, I am looking for options that may help me with a temporary or permanent fix without having to replace the motherboard. (Replacement boards are fairly pricey when available). Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated....

Chosen Solution I have a few AT&T Calypsos, $40 phones from WalMart or Target, with broken LCD screens. I wanted to see if I could repair the phone screens myself. But looking at them, it almost seems as though the LCD part of the phone is completely attached to the rest of the phone. Is it possible to just replace the screen? Thank you. yes, remove the rivet cable and put it its representative compatible port and it should work if its compatible but ur ganna have to have a pick or something to lift the screen out slowly without breaking it u have to break the glue u can use a heat gun, but u can break a screen that way too so do it carefully

Chosen Solution Is it worth to try change a cooler or repaste? Given that I almost certainly will break the screen? does the cooling device turn on and attempt to run? if so first try a repaste, if not you would then have to change the cooling device.

I had also done other updates and thought it was Android System WebView as it started right after that had updated. Then I read it’s Zedge and I’ve had that program for almost 2 years. Chosen Solution The keyboard stopped working due to use and I replaced it with a new one. Then the keyboard and trackpad stopped working. But it works with external keyboard and mouse. Then I installed the operating system Windows 8 and Windows 10. On the Macbook and there the keyboard and trackpad works normally. The touchpad is part of the palmrest assembly. I couldn’t locate a separate cable for the touchpad but if you search for Dell X3677, you will find suppliers of the complete assembly including the cable, Supplier -example only. Hover your mouse over the image to zoom in and view the cable....

Chosen Solution Jura impressa S9 empty grounds won’t clear until you wait 10 minutes before re inserting the drip tray. The flash won’t work either. Now I’ve read online that it could be a motherboard issue or it could be a camera issue. When it did, I got stuck in a boot loop, with some cases when it would boot into IOS but then go back into the loop. I put the phone in recovery mode so it wouldn’t continually loop and then I let it charge (because it’s a new battery) After some time, the iTunes logo was gone and the phone is in recovery mode and won’t get out....
