Chosen Solution So a couple of months ago I was greeted with some serious artefacting and small red lines all over the screen followed by “your computer restarted because of an error” only thing is it didn’t restart and hasn’t since, the machine won’t even boot into safe/recovery mode. Ive tried reseting the Pram and SMC but that also doesn’t work. Internet recovery doesn’t seem to work either. Sorry for how vague this sounds!...

I want to change the motherboard the phone its locked to T-Mobile if I use a Verizon motherboard will that unlock the phone from T-Mobile? Chosen Solution I have an sudden turn off issue with my iMac 24" Early 2009, like on a power outage. First, I cleaned the fans and replaced the thermal compound in order to exclude possible thermal issues. After that the temperatures decreased from 60 degrees Celsius to 35 degrees Celsius, which is a very good deal. Unfortunately, the device keeps random shutting down itself albeit the temperatures are lower than on any other device I have....

Chosen Solution I am trying to install a CF adapter with a 64GB Compact Flash card in an IPOD classic 6th generation. This drive should replace a broken 80GB drive. Unfortunately, each time the IPOD boots it displays the Red X. IPOD works fine with a conventional drive. The CF adapter when connected to the computer through a USB enclosure works fine. For some reason in the IPOD the activity LED on the board does not light up, indicating a possible power issue....

Chosen Solution I was using my macbook in a music recording software called LogicX. I opened a new file and suddenly my keyboard just stopped working. I couldn’t use ANY of the keys, but the trackpad was still moving. When in doubt, I always just restart my computer, and the power button worked. However, when I got to the login page, the keyboard still wasn’t working to enter my password. I tried resetting the PRAM by shutting down, powering up, and pressing the option-command-R-P buttons, but the keyboard must not be registering that even because it didn’t work....

Chosen Solution It was any other day. I went to go get my phone and it didn’t power on. I let it charge overnight and in the morning it would power on. I went to a repair shop and they said that the home button came displaced and to take it to Apple. It doesn’t have any sort of warranty. I feel like the home button thing is BS. Chosen Solution I have just replaced the screen on my iPhone 7 and everything seemed to work on it eg - the front camera and 3D touch. However when testing sound there was nothing out of either of the speakers (the bottom speaker or the earpiece speaker) and when i got to click the volume up button nothing happens on screen. I can’t even adjust sound in CC and when i go to adjust the slider it doesn’t move....

Chosen Solution So a friend gave me an iPhone 5 because she could not fix it, it was in recovery mode and the phone looks like it had taken some damage, and before I got out of the recovery mode she had gotten a new phone so she said I could just keep it. There was another problem with the phone that has happened a couple of times to her before, randomly if you tried to turn on the phone it would be like a brick....

Chosen Solution I know the logic board needs replaced and I have a few I’m looking at on eBay but there is a 32mb memory one and a 64mb memory one and I’m not sure which mine is and not sure if switching it would make it work or not. I assume going with 64 would be fine whether mine is 32 or 64 but just want to double check with anybody out there....

Chosen Solution The MacBook Pro 13” 2019 model is said to be 2/10 repairable, which sucks because I want to upgrade my ram / core/ ssd storage. Is the 2020 version 13” easier to upgrade power and storage in the future? Well… Lets look at what you can’t upgrade in any of the newer MacBook Pro’s RAM is soldered so what you buy is all you’ll get. Replacing the logic board is the only way to upgrade it which is just not economical....

Chosen Solution Is it possible to upgrade SSD AND RAM to a MacBook Pro 2022 M2 chip? @applealcaffe Unfortunately, the short answer is: No! You can choose the highest specced one upon purchase, but it cannot be upgraded by consumers themselves, as the memory is in the SoC itself and the “SSD” is soldered on NAND chips on the logic board. That can not be good for you, I store my new batteries in sealed Tupperware and every time I open it there is a blast of lithium scent. Chosen Solution Hello! The antenna cover on the monitor snapped off and severed the antenna wire beneath it. Does anyone know if there is a way to replace the wire? Remove the battery Remove the 2 screws located under the battery Carefully, remove the clear plastic cover Remove the 2 screws under the cover Separate the blue and white housing pieces, exposing the antenna wire Very carefully strip 0.54" of the insulation, exposing the wire mesh Very carefully push the mesh towards end still attached to the monitor This should create a bump making it possible to trim away the mesh without damaging the inner wire Reassemble and test....

Chosen Solution I have a dell latitude d600 that just went out two weeks ago. I went out and bought a new apdator from walmart(wall charger) and also ordered at brand new battery from amazon. I did all of that and still no life has come to it and even with the wall charger before i plug it in it has a light on, but once i do plug it into my laptop the light goes out....

Chosen Solution Hello, all. My Kenmore 80s series washer gets nearly to the rinse bit of the wash cycle, then refuses to continue or drain. It does this on all rinse cycles available. It turns on and spins fine for the first bit but without fail refuses to rinse and spin. Slamming the door worked a few times but alas, now not even that works. Any and all help appreciated!...

Chosen Solution The water in the house was shut off and then back on. Now, it SOUNDS like the water dispenser is working as always, but no water. Check lines and filters for debris. Sometimes when they turn the water on and off it loosens debris. Especially if they were working on the water pipes. If you have an air compressor, you can check that the lines are clear with that....
