Chosen Solution I have an external portable Freecom self powered USB drive which did not mount on my older MBP. It just clicked continuasly, its utility password partion would mount momenteraly and then turned its blue light off. The mounting problem is the least of today’s disasters… So I powered up my imac and connected the external drive to it to see if it mounts on the imac. Once the freecom was connected , the imac turned off immediately and it would not turn on again....

Chosen Solution I’ve since replaced the battery and was initially very pleased to see it turn on. Then, the shocker; it has power, which I assume was loaded on the battery before shipping, but it still will not charge. I’m guessing the problem therefore actually lies with the lightning port in the iPad. I would be happy to also replace this, but… what am I looking for to order/replace? They are soldered into place, so unless you can do logic board repair its not going to be one you can do, as I pretty much guarantee you’ll end up pulling pads when you remove the old port from the board....

So i put the Logic Board and Face ID components from the nee case out ans put my Parts in. Everything works except True Tone. What do i have take from the old case to the new one to get it to work? Chosen Solution Whenever my touchpad is enabled, the mouse pointer moves around and clicks when I type because my arms are near to or graze the touchpad. I’ve seen My mouse clicks when I rest my wrist next to the trackpad.. and I know this is apparently due to battery swell, but I don’t care about the reason, I just want to permanently disable my touchpad. I do know about the option to automatically disable the touchpad whenever an external mouse is plugged in, but the problem is that it’s constantly ‘forgetting’ that the mouse is plugged in and I have to unplug it and re-plug it in multiple times a day just to remind the system to disable the touchpad....

Chosen Solution hey. i wonder if its common for iphone 11 displays to have the required chip on it to actually program truetone back to it with a tool like icopy or if there is also some „black sheeps“ that miss required chips to do so. thanks in advance most screens now will need the chip transferred otherwise it will cause issues when the ios is updated, i stopped replacing screens due to many issues and customers not wanting to pay the prices

Chosen Solution Tried to preheat oven and getting a F30 code or F90 code. JoAnn, I can not get an F30 code, so I am noit sure about that. The F90 is the door lock code. this can be precluded by a self cleaning cycle:-) Try to unplug the range, wait 1 minute. Turn the range back on, while holding in on the oven door, start another self clean. Wait 2 minutes and then cancel the self clean....

I tried desoldering the flex cable for the dock connector and the following image links depict the tradgedy that has occurred. Chosen Solution I recently replaced my macbook pro 2017 TB battery , everything worked fine after and the battery was charging then suddenly the macbook turned off , I turned it on again and it was charging , I did a PRAM reset as recommended however after it opened up , it says battery is not charging Update 1 : so I tried removing the back lid again , disconnecting the battery cable and reconnecting it , then turning on my MacBook but this time did no PRAM reset and it charged , so I recharged it to 100% and then used it without the power adapter to drain the battery , after draining it , I connect the power adapter , it turns on but again won’t recharge !...
