Chosen Solution

hi! i hv my iphone over a year. yesterday, when i wanted to charge it and i plugged it in, it just not charged. no thunder bolt symbol no other explanation such as “not supported charge device” or somthing like that, just nothing, like it isnt charged. i tried the hard restart (pushing the lock button and home button together for 8 secs) but it still wont charged when i plugged it in. then i leave it with the charger still plugged on my phone for about an hour then i checked it again, the battery was increasing! but just like 2 percent and still no thunderbolt symbol. so slow! must i change the battery ? what should i do to fix it ? oh i forgot to tell you something. once, my phone goes off cause the battery is 0%, n then it shows like this n it charged normaly until like a minute after my phone turned back on. when it turned on, its not charged anymore, like i said no thunder bolt but it actualy slow chraged. like realy slooow. spent a whole day for fullfilled it

Take a toothbrush with a little alcohol and swab out the charge port real good to clean the pins on the dock connector. I fix a lot of them like this.

I have the solution for it ….. I have iphone 4 and it was running awsome till 2 weaks , after it wasn’t showing the bolt sign while charging . I tried new wires , even a new adapter . But solution lies under the first one cable .
first let ur iphone be connected to the charger for 3 to 4 minutes.then remove it and immediately again coonect it . BANG ! It will charge

You could try to unplug the battery and re seat the connector. Have you tried a different charger to ensure its not a problem with that particular cord or adapter? Also, look in the bottom of the dock connector and make sure there isn’t any pocket lint or dirt lodged into it. This does happen. Make sure also there are no bent pins or damage to the connector itself. Hope this helps Update it could be the battery as well. If you can order one in and try it that may very well resolve the issue entirely. Now that we know everything is squeaky clean! :)

adhit, just like Craig suggested, start by cleaning the dock connector properly, replace the battery, make sure the battery connectors are properly attached to the board. Worst case scenario, you have issues with the power management IC. check this video for a reflow and the image to see if the jumpers might help you out. Place jumpers across the fuses

i’ve changed the charging port connector of my phone and it solved the problem… iPhone 4 Dock Connector Replacement good luck =)

I used my Brothers charger and it is charging absolutely cool. WEird tho
