I have an ipad mini 4 that has an unresponsive screen. Came to me for repair from a school site. No physical damage, no weird smells, no liquid indicators flagged inside. Purchased a part from ifixit, replaced the digitizer, and with the new part from ifixit—it is still unresponsive. Cannot find any info online for help. already restored via apple configurator 2, still nothing.
You might wanna contact iFixit about getting a replacement part because at iFixit they stand behind their parts. If you do get a replacement and it still does not work something else that I do not know about is probably broken. Hope this helps.
Sounds like logic board related issue, most likely a defective chip.
is it possible the connectors on the screen arent fully seated? try to disconnect/reconnect screen connectors to make sure. many times they will look and feel connected but are slightly off. happens a lot in aftermarket mini 4 screens
